I read Ceramics Monthly for the first time many years ago. It was so inspiring – full of new ideas, information, images – and people who would become my pottery heroes. I watched for it in the mail and, when it arrived, eagerly studied every page. Fast-forward through the years (and thousands of pots) and I am thrilled to share that my work and studio are featured in the February issue!

This custom order of knitting/yarn bowls is now at Ball & Skein in Cambria, Ca. Such wonderful folks, and knitters rave about the selection and service. They've been shipping the bowls out to people who buy online too. More info about Ball & Skein on their great website and blog:
The 2016 Cambria Art & Wine Festival will be the last weekend in January this year, and I'm going gangbusters in the studio to get ready. I'll be doing wheel-throwing and etching demonstrations on all three days, and have extra help in the studio to make sure visitors get the VIP treatment. Please visit!
New year = new collection!
I'm excited to launch a new collection of work, spurred on by the success of prototype mugs out of the kiln at the beginning of the year.
The pieces, which will include bowls, vases, platters and pitchers, will feature an etched poppy design on a field of orange and soft yellow. Interior and highlight glaze options will include teal blue and black matte.
More to come!
