Here are some scenes from our session. What a fun time!
At the end of this two-day workshop held in February, I couldn't help but marvel at how each person's final design was so very different from others in the session. It was amazing to see their own design style come forth in just two days of working in the studio! Here are some scenes from our session. What a fun time! Earlier this month, a group from Cambria Rotary took my workshop as a fundraiser for our club's service projects. Their workshop fees were donated, we raised $1,870, and had a blast! Here are some images of their work-in-progress and fun around the studio during our two-day event: The workshop season got off to a wonderful start with a private group – a gathering of friends coming together to share a weekend of fun and creativity. Big thanks to Korey Dudley and Kerry Smith for bringing this group together! At the end of the second day, there were lots of happy makers in the studio! They left their pieces with me for bisque-firing, glazing and final firing. I'll post the final results before packaging the pieces for delivery/pick-up after firing. Stay tuned! :) Practice pieces are shown below... We start with making and decorating small bowls and little tiles to learn the technique and tools.
