The name for this piece was inspired by my friend and Chambers Gallery owner, Gayle Sewell. She took one look at the platter and said it reminded her of the movie Triplets of Bellevue. A quick online search told me why, and made me laugh out loud... and this piece got its name. Visit Chambers Gallery in Cambria, CA, and check it out.
The flurry of the annual Open Studios event in October was so exciting! We had crowds of people both weekends and felt the love. Thank you to all who visited, all who brought their friends and family members, and all who took home a new piece from the studio.
What's next? Shhhhhhhh!
Visit the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art in late November to see a new collection of work. It's under-wraps until delivery, but I'm excited to share it with you!
Thank you to all who came out for Open Studios this weekend! More fun next weekend as we cap off the event. You can visit me and other studios throughout San Luis Obispo County on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19. I'll be open from 10-5:30 both days. Stop by to see new work, watch pieces being made, enjoy some snacks, and talk about art and pots. Great time!
